MSU MUSEUM

      Today in the afternoon I visited MSU MUSEUM. It is very nice and neat, also has many kinds of unique animals. Moreover it has introduction next to each sample of these animal. Also, It has many picture for human and animal, they keep them behind glasses, because they do not want anyone touch them. Therefor they are unique and have high worth. I think they are right to keep them, because when broke something difficult to fix it or get same or similar it. Finally, it has every section of kind alone and has information about all this section. In conclusion, I recommend all of you visit it and enjoy there.

Last Event

This picture was for me and an American man who i forgot his name!! and he has two nationalities: American and Canadian. I asked him some information about Canada state and Sante jhone city exactly because my young brother live and study there . He told me it is far of here about to 16 hours. He talked about many cities in Canada and he described life and weather there.

Event 11

On march 18th, I went to coffee hour which I attended it several times before. There I made many relations with people, and met many of American people. I talked with an American man who was worked in Saudi Arabia in 1983 and he was lived at the west of my country also two of his children were born there. We dicussed about the huge changese between that and this period also about his job there and his life style. in fact, he was very kind man and I plan to take his number next time.

Event 10

On march 17th, at Ericson Hall I attended " bridge international students " it was about the communication between american and international students . First , they divided us into groups then they started with simple game by paper . After that we watched short video and when we finished we discussed it .there were mix of native speakers and international students also it was great activity because it had both of benefit and fun.

Event 9

At March 9th , I went to bowling center again with my friends but this time to supporting him. He went there to training because he was shared in league bowling. He is professional player, his father is a bowling coach and one person of his family is professional player too and won a lot of local and international awards. I discussed with an American player about this game and how much time you need to be a good player. I tried to learn some of bowling rules and took a general idea about this interesting game.

Event 8

At March 4th, my friend called me and asked me to go with him to bowling center, I was free so, accepted his inviting. As well as I never attended like these places and regarded it as routine change. I surprised there with many people who were very professional players. For the first time, I thought it is an easy game but when I ask an American player about that he said it seems like that but there are a lot of rules you must follow them to achieve a high score.

Event 7

At feb, 26th I and my friends decided to attend a comedy show which it was about Hypnosis, in fact I thought it will be interesting show but unfortunately it was very boring. at the first a man came and introduced himself then give us an idea about the show after that he chose 6 persons of the attendees and tried to hypnosis them and ask them some funny questions.

Event 6

At February, 19th I went with my friend to skating in area called Munn ice arena, I was very exciting to watch people how can they move and control on their body. There I saw a lot of people skating together; I loved this game because it is fun and good for both of adults and kids. I tried to speak with many Americans and ask them about their feelings while they play, it was wonderful experience.

International Coffee Hour 12

The meeting was held on Friday, March 25, 2011. I met with my friend Chaad from United States of America. We spoke about several topics such as education in United States of America, Arabic language, and about Saudi culture especially Saudi food. Actually I promise him we will have Saudi food as a dinner one day not only this but we will cooked it by our self. Really he was happy to hear that. However I made with him interview about technology that belongs to Mr. Nobi class. At the end I am so happy to invite you all to have Saudi food with us.

International Coffee Hour 11

The meeting was held on Friday, March 18, 2011. As a usual it was funny and helpful meeting. I met with Binyamin from Switzerland. I asked him about the watches that manufacture’s in Switzerland. We talked for long time about Switzerland specially the Switzerland’s watches. During our conversation our friend ALtremethy from Nigeria joined with us. He told me he is professional in taking photos, so I gave him my cellphone and asked him to take photos for us (me & Binyamin) unfortunately 50% of it were bad resolution. I chose the best one and type it with this article, so what do think about it Mr. Nobi?

No.12 West Circle Easter Celebration

After few days, it's Easter Day, so West Circle has something intersting to celebrate the Easter. I live in Yakeley Hall which is in West Circle area. It has a lot of funny game. As you see, like the balloon, the air bed and others. In the class , Ann told us something intersting about the Easter, like the egg hunting , coloring eggs and buy the new clothes for the little children. I think Easter will be very funny. I expect it!

Cafe hour no. 12

     On Friday April 15 I attended cafe hour at International Center. I met retired employer, he had work in MSU for long time. He was work at OISS, he told about how it was interesting when he was work. Thereby met a lot of international student and traveled with them.

Special Event On Saturday April 16 no 11.

       On Saturday April 16 I went to special event in International Center . It was very good, funny and interesting. They bring many games for anyone want to play. Also, they bring a lot of candy and juice. There were many student and employers.

Event On Tuesday Next to Health Center at MSU no.10

    

    I attended event belong to MSU On Tuesday April 12. It was their three kind of competitive, actually all of them was ask any student who is want three questions in each section. Then They give cards when student collect three cards can get T-Shirt gift.    

Sing Wednesday Workshop no 9

     On Wednesday 3/23 I attended workshop belong to English Language Center at MSU. The lecturer was from elc. He told us how to create sing. Then he began sing, he brought guitar with him for sing. Finally he ordered from us to create new sing.  

Cafe hour no. 8

      On Friday 3/25 I went to cafe. It was there many students and employers from Chase Bank, they told us information about Chase Bank. Also, what are the requirements for open account in their bank, and what are their advantages.

Cafe hour no. 7

       On Friday 3/18 I went to cafe hour. I met student from China, we talked about his program. It is agriculture. He likes his major and he told agriculture now is very important in his country.

Cafe hour no. 6

       In 3/4 I went to cofe hour it was there good activity. It was competitive all student wrote their names, then put them in the box. Then In the last cafe hour the MSU employers pull random three names each take prize book.

Cafe hour no. 5

      On Friday 2/25 I went to cafe hour I met there Aziz, Abdullah and other students from other class. It was very good time, and interesting time to meet student off class. Also , MSU employer bring every thing there like cafe and candy.

Cafe hour no. 4

     On Friday 2/18 I went to cafe hour in international center building. I met many of my classmate there. Also, many of international students and from U.S. and employers belong to Bank Of America was there.  

No (12) MSU Museum

On Monday 4th , April 2011. I went to MSU Museum with my friend Abdullah. We have seen many things in the museum such as ancient stone, some ancient an animals and its effects. Also, we hav seen the skulls of some animals, and we have seen some of the relics of ancient cultures. I and my friend like the museum. We took pictures for memories.

Finally, I completed twelve events. I really liked the idea of events, it is wonderful idea. I learned many things about American Society and another societies of the world.

on saturday , April 9 2011 . I and frindes we decided visit Detrouit , Actually this is what happend I and friends went to Detrouit order to has some pretty place.
when we arrived over ther at 11:00 am. we agreed eat lunch before, because I was hungry yeah, we went arabic restaurant when we end of the lunch we decided visit down town for detroit its was pretty so some skyscrapers fantastic after that , my collegue told we should no late here because this state dangerous , Actually he has right , then we visited shopping complex and I went to store or place for electronic I want purhase Ipad but price expensive.
Finally, I took some photos over there but was fantastic trip I am going go to again...

NO12: Coffee Hour

I went on Friday, on 8th April to coffee hour. Where I met people from U.S. residents of the Detroit and a student at the faculty of music. Where we had talk about the weather and summer in michigan against acommon weather in Iraq. And I spoke about the situation in Iraq and happening the improvement where said that wish to travel to Iraq after the situation stabilizes.

NO11: Organization US-IRAQI YOUTH

I went on March 26th event sponsored by the Iraqi empassy and under the supervision of the cultural attache in Detroit. The them for this event for a young US-Iraqi they spoke about the possbility of young people and their abilities in the future. Than toched to the revolutions that occur in the Arab countries, led by enthusiastic young people. In the end I think that this conversation was important, because it know the senior professore in American universities of Iraqi assets, as well as important American fiqures.

NO10: Lacrosse Game

I went to stadium Lacrosse where was game between team the Michigan State Universtiy when I arrived was team advance opponent . I was troubled where this loss as the result remained until the match end. In the end I hope bacome verdit his match where the match was considered in valid to that the team wins the Michigan State Universtiy.

No.11 Meridian Mall

Today I went to Meridian Mall to go shopping . In the middle of Meridian Mall , there is something funny . There has a lot of children playing there . A lot of toys there , so children can play there . I think Meridian Mall is a good place for people who lived in East Lansing to shop.

No.10 Lake Lansing

Today , the sun shines. Sherry and I went to lake Lansing . There are a lot of people playing in lake Lansing . I went to the lake but the water is too cold. My foot seems like frozen . It's so beautiful of lake Lansing . It's my first time to be there. I just heard it before but when I arrived there I am sharked with the scenery . So pretty scenery , so pretty weather ! I hope the weather become better .

No.9 MSU Union Pool

On Friday I went to Union to play the pool . Actually in the past I have already played pool for 2 years , but I just play it for fun . But Friday when I went the pool room , I met a man who played very well . He taught me how to shot the ball clearly and other skill . I think my skill developed a little bit , but I need practise .

No.8 Basketball Game

Yesterday I went to IM West to watch the series of basketball game. In the game there has some Americans , some Korean, also some Chinese . Every player played very hard , and the game is very exciting . The people who hold this game said 'Nothing is more important than participation'.

No:11 MUSEUM MSU

On tuesday , april 5 , Aziz and I went to to MSU museum . Also , werer in the muesum several wings frist, we visite wing stones on grahpics fter that we moving to other wing animals there was some strange animal so we asked the emplyer or officer around names some animals ,for me I was not know about MSU museuem in general was MSU museuem wonderful and I am decided write what I was over there ,I will come back to MSU museuem .

Event 5

Coffee hour is a good chance for practice and get to know new friends. Almost every friday, I go to coffee hour. This time I met many of students from different countries and talked with them about studying and some thing about their life. I like this meeting.

Event 4

On Saturday 12th,Feb2011, I went to the International center and attended the Sizzlin' salsa spectacular. They were singing in Spanish language. They sang different songs. It was a new experience for me. Many of American people were there and danced on the Spanish music rhythm. I noticed the American people like Spanish music.

No.7 Photo Treasure Hunt

On March 25th, I went to MSU Union to attend the photo treasure hunt . This event is about grab some friends to spend two hours racing the clock to find as many as the campus sight as possible. And the list is given to us in the main lounge . It is very intersting and the people wear all kinds of clothes.

No.6 Open Mic Night

Tonight I went to MSU Union to attend this event . This event can be joined all the students . Some of them sang the song and some had a speech . In the last picture the man from Saudi Arabia had a speech about the different culture from different countries. He is also a student in ELC . He said when he just arrived America, his pronounsation was very bad , he wanted to say 'I will call you back ' , but the people heard like 'I will kill you back ' , so this is very interesting . Also a Chinese sang a Chinese song , that makes me very exciting.

No.5 Detroit Auto Show

Last month , I went to Detroit to watch the auto show with ELC. It's a really good auto show in the modern world . During this show I saw a lot of good cars , for example Ferrari , Bentley , Maybach and so on . Some of them for me is my first time to see. I'm very excited about them . It must be a lot of people. By the way , I saw a Chinese company in this auto show called BYD, it's the best car-made company in China , I'm very proud of this .
